Like our jigs, the River Ripper is designed for river fishing, with the same ball head to get through rocks, and a brush guard to reduce hang-ups when you want to slow down and hop off the bottom. The River Ripper is a compact bladed jig, with a stout 4/0 hook. The simple ball head shape allows the jig to come through all kinds of rock, but when you do get hung up, a good tug with braided line will free the jig without bending out the hook.
